Company Overview

Legacy Health Services operates skilled nursing facilities across Northeast Ohio, providing a variety of short-term rehabilitation, assisted living and long-term care services.

At Legacy Health Services, we are committed to delivering high quality care marked by our values of integrity, passion, humor and relationships. As a family-owned company, we are dedicated to providing the kind of care and services designed to meet the physical and emotional needs of our residents. Our goal is to be the long-term care and rehabilitation services provider of choice in every community we serve.

With a systems-oriented approach to the care and services that we provide in each facility, we believe that execution is everything. This approach allows us to achieve superior outcomes for our residents. As an example, in 2011 we returned over 55% of our admissions back to home, with an average length of stay of 40 days or less. We are focused on continuously improving our performance on behalf of our residents. Our vision is to provide the full range of care and services that our residents need within our facilities and all the way to their homes.

Our Four Core Foundational Values

Relationships
We treat people, not a diagnosis.

Integrity
We are honest and dependable.

Humor
We believe in the healing power of joy and laughter.

Passion
We bring a passion to our profession.

Family Owned and Operated
We are a family owned and operated business. This is the foundation of our philosophy and way of conducting our business. ‘Our Family Caring For Yours’ is not just our tagline, it is the core concept of how everyone at Legacy Health Services goes about their job. Our focus is to provide a caring, family atmosphere in each of our facilities, and we are delighted to hear so often from our residents and their family members that they feel like they are part of the family.

Our Mission & Vision

Quality of Care
We aim to provide our residents with the care and services necessary to meet all of their clinical and non-clinical needs by hiring the best talent we can locate, promoting long-term employment of our care givers, investing in our facilities’ physical plant and constantly expanding the scope of services and amenities we provide. We have established rigorous standards to ensure that we amply meet the physical, spiritual, social, emotional and intellectual needs of our residents.

Leadership
We are an innovative leader in the communities we serve by integrating new services ad technologies, and continually improving our systems and processes to achieve superior results. At the bedside, in the kitchen or in the physical therapy rooms, our facilities utilize the latest approaches to continuing care. Whether it is new clinical and dietary programs or activities designed to entertain and enhance the quality of life of our residents, Legacy Health Services is always looking for better ways to provide care. Our leadership begins with our employees. Our residents and caregivers benefit from our positive employment environment that encourages the implementation and use of new techniques and technology, as well as the pursuit of continuing education.

Attentive Management
While our company is large enough to have the resources necessary to be at the forefront of continuing care, we are still a family-owned business in which our senior management is regularly involved in providing close and personal attention to each resident’s needs and desires. Our experienced and highly professional management team establishes and continues to refine key performance standards that contribute to our high standard of care.
