We provide seniors with a wealth of opportunities to interact with others and make new friendships. From outings to social gatherings, games, and educational programs, there is always something fun and engaging to do during their stay.
ART & MUSIC THERAPIES
Art therapy is designed to provide seniors with a creative outlet and help them to relax and enjoy themselves. Participants in the program get to explore their creativity through different mediums such as painting, drawing, sculpting, and more. The art therapist also provides guidance and support to participants as they work on their projects.
The benefits of music therapy are well-documented. It can help improve communication and bonding, stimulate the brain and improve cognitive function, ease pain and tension, and boost morale.
SPECIALIZED MEDICAL CARE, AS NEEDED
If your senior loved one has any specialized medical needs beyond basic care, our team of qualified nurses will accommodate them during their stay. Some categories of specialized care that we can provide include:

One service that Legacy Health provides at their respite care facilities throughout Ohio is pet therapy. Pets are a great source of comfort and can help to reduce stress for seniors. Many residents at our respite care facilities enjoy visits from therapy animals, such as dogs, cats, and rabbits.

Does your care recipient hold faith-based beliefs? We will provide activities that are both enjoyable and respectful to what they believe in. Along with delicious meals and fun social engagements, we can offer opportunities to further engage spiritually.
