“The food was good; breakfast was my favorite. I also enjoyed the desserts. The employees were kind and respectful. The care was good. Sandy, one of my nursing assistants made me feel especially safe. The environment was home-like rather than a “facility.” I liked the open windows; the landscaping was nice. The décor was pleasant looking. I got involved in the social events and participated in activities such as watching movies, praying the rosary, and attending a tea social. I even saw a magician who was very good. I had a pleasant experience and would recommend Wickliffe Country Place to anyone. I would return again for therapy if I ever to and even if I eventually needed long term placement.”
“All in all I found the facility to have a lot of class. The girls in therapy are really great. As a result of the therapy and care I received here, I am able to do more and more for myself and am getting ready to go home. Everyone here really seems to know their trade. I’ve got nothing but praise for all of the people here. I’m glad that I choose Wickliffe Country Place for my rehab. ”
“Each and every person is wonderful. The food is good and healthy. The people are great and really care about you. I have met a lot of people and have made friends. I’d recommend this place to anyone. My family cannot believe that I don’t want to go home. I’m more so content here. They take care of everything I need.”

Our goal is to help you return home!
An illness, injury or surgery can impair your ability to move or function on your own. Short-term rehabilitation therapy can help you regain, develop or maintain the strength or skills necessary to live independently.
Based on your condition, your doctor may have prescribed Physical, Occupational or Speech therapy – or a combination of multiple therapies. Our therapists will collaborate with you, your family, your physician and health care team to create and implement a therapy plan tailored to your needs, goals and preferences.
Incorporating activities or hobbies that you enjoy into your therapy program may contribute to your progress and help you maintain ongoing success.
The average length of stay for our rehab patients is under 40 days, at which point many patients successfully return home.
Individualized Plan of Care
Your individualized plan of care may include one or more of the following therapies:
Occupational Therapy helps develop the strength and skills necessary to independently
perform the activities of daily living, such as dressing, eating and toileting. Occupational therapy targets upper-body strength, coordination, range of motion and fine motor skills.
Physical Therapy focuses on restoring independence when movement or functional abilities have been compromised by an illness, injury or condition. Treatment and exercise help optimize movement, balance, strength and flexibility.
Speech Therapy evaluates and treats speech, swallowing and memory problems caused by a wide range of conditions and disorders.
Qualified, In-House Staff
Our licensed therapists are an integral part of our health care team. Working together, your team will develop a personalized plan of care.
You will work closely with an experienced therapist who knows you, understands your goals and supports you every step of the way. We believe that when you build a relationship based on trust and understanding, you will likely have a better experience and improved outcomes.
We also work with our full-time master’s level Advanced Practice Nurses (nurse practitioners) and the state-of-the-art equipment required to treat high-acuity patients with multiple conditions, including:
• Neurological disorders
• Post-operative recovery
• Balance disorders
