Happy National Bike Month! May is a time to pump your tires, clip on your helmet and take off on a two-wheel adventure. This year’s biking phenomena is sponsored by the League of American Bicyclists, and they want everyone to know more about Bike Month. Bike month started in 1956 to showcase all the many benefits of riding a bike and to encourage the use of bicycles. Bicycling is a great alternative for transportation as it’s good for the environment and easy to move and store. Not only that, but it can improve your health if used consistently with little to no stress on your joints. Treat your bike to a special trip this May and celebrate the wonderful joy of riding!
