Meet Our Team
As the Administrator at Wickliffe Country Place, Missy Schaefer brings over 19 years of long-term care experience to her role. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Gerontology, with a minor in long-term care administration, and has been a part of the Legacy Health Services team for over three years. Missy enjoys working in long-term care because “the residents become your family, and they trust you to make sure they continue to have a good quality of life. I have always enjoyed working with others, and the elderly population continues to hold a soft spot in my heart.” Her goal is to ensure that every family feels safe and secure at Wickliffe Country Place.
Director of Nursing
JoAnne Ginley joined Legacy Health Services as the Staff Development Coordinator at Wickliffe Country Place. She also served as the Director of Nursing at Hillside Plaza before rejoining the team at Wickliffe as the Director of Nursing. JoAnne finds her profession very rewarding, especially helping residents and their families. She states, “I enjoy working with co-workers who strive to make a difference.”
Director of Rehabilitation
Heather Hanchuk began her career at Pleasant Lake Villa over nine years ago as a Physical Therapist Assistant. She was soon promoted as the Director of Rehabilitation for Wickliffe Country Place. Heather obtained her Bachelor of Arts from Baldwin Wallace University, where she studied sports medicine. She began her career working in the outpatient setting during the summers. This is where Heather realized she enjoyed working with the geriatric population. Heather states, “I love seeing a resident returning to their community and knowing that I had a direct impact on their success. I love hearing their stories while learning from their experiences and feeling that sense of family because I work so closely with residents every day.”
