Darrell Scott

Administrator

With a Master’s Degree in Business Administration and over ten years of healthcare experience, Darrell Scott serves as the Administrator at Franklin Plaza. He enjoys interacting with the residents and getting to know them and their life stories. Darrell joined the healthcare field with the desire to be a part of trying to make a difference in people’s lives, and he is proud to be able to do so every day. To Darrell, the company mission statement, “Our Family Caring for Yours,” means that “When you join the Legacy Health Services team, the people that you work with daily become a part of your extended family. This then extends into the care and compassion we give to our residents.”

Janelle Spencer

Director of Nursing

After graduating from Owens Community College and earning a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Kent State University, Janelle Spencer joined the Legacy Health Services team as an RN Supervisor at Franklin Plaza. She demonstrated compassion and a commitment to excellence, and was soon promoted to Restorative Nurse and eventually Assistant Director of Nursing. Serving as the Director of Nursing, Janelle says her favorite part of her day is, “Meeting so many great people from the staff to residents and their families. Knowing I can help make a difference in someone’s life is what gives me the most satisfaction.”

Mike Rowell

Director of Rehabilitation

Mike Rowell has over 16 years of experience in occupational therapy. Mike began his career with Legacy Health Services as an Occupational Therapist, eventually moving into the Director of Rehabilitation role. Mike states, “Allowing our residents to understand their true potential while helping them reach their personal goals is often the most fulfilling part of my job. I love that all residents have the comfort in knowing they will be cared for with the utmost dignity and respect.”
